Comedian Fortune Feimster is officially ending her marriage to Jacquelyn ‘Jax’ Smith.

The 44-year-old entertainer filed for divorce in Los Angeles, just weeks after news broke that the couple had separated.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, where she boasts one million followers, the FUBAR star shared a statement.

‘Together, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. We’ve been separated for a little bit, both of us dealing with tough health situations in our families, so it wasn’t something we were ready to talk about,’ she began the note.

Feimster went on to say, ‘While we are sad to see this chapter of our lives come to a close, we wish each other nothing but the best as we move forward.’

Feimster met the former kindergarten teacher in a parking lot at a Chicago Pride event in 2015 — the day after the Supreme Court ruled that same-sex marriage was legal in all 50 states.

She would later describe the encounter as ‘love at first sight.’

The You’re Cordially Invited actress and Jax initially bonded over watching NBC’s Dateline before getting engaged during a romantic getaway to Big Sur in 2018.

They marked their October 23 fourth wedding anniversary with a celebratory trip to Greece.

Feimster wrote online at the time, ‘In between Prague filming and Oktoberfest, Jax and I took a little detour into Santorini, Greece and it was a magical much needed vacation. I was up to my eyeballs in feta and frappes and loved every second of it.’

And Jax wrote in the comments, ‘Love adventures with you…as long as we aren’t riding on the quiet car!’
