Four found dead in New Mexico home in Christmas Day shooting 

Four people have been found dead inside a New Mexico home following a Christmas Day shooting.

Police found the bodies of the four people after receiving a call for help at the Rio Rancho home, just outside Albuquerque, following reports of a shooting on Wednesday at about 4pm.

Authorities said all four victims appeared to have died from gunshot wounds. 

Police have not released any other information about the victims or the circumstances surrounding their deaths. 

It is not yet clear what ages the victims were.  

The four people were from the same family, according to relatives.

A relative, Rose Varona, said the family had all been together on Christmas Eve to celebrate the holiday. 

She said they were all supposed to meet up again on Christmas Day but that she started to get a bad feeling.

‘I just had a feeling something was wrong, cause since yesterday in the evening I was telling my sister my heart was heavy and racing and I didn’t know why,’ she told KRQE. 

She said the family became worried when they hadn’t heard from the four relatives so her mother and brother went to the home to check on them. 

Varona said they found the bodies inside. 

‘I really don’t understand what’s going on, we just try to draw the strength from God, even though we don’t understand what’s going on,’ she said.
