France 33-31 England: Steve Borthwick’s side lose to late Thomas Ramos kick to finish behind the hosts in the Six Nations table after a back-and-forth thriller in Lyon

Thomas Ramos scored a 79th-minute kick to give France the late victory over England in a back-and-forth thriller in Lyon to finish off the Six Nations. 

France led 16-10 at half-time, but Steve Borthwick’s England fought their way into the lead after the restart, only to fall behind again in Lyon.

Both sides knew the trophy was out of their hands following Ireland’s win over Scotland earlier in the day, but they were still seeking second place in the tournament.
