France launch their 2018 World Cup campaign in Russia on Saturday morning with a Group C match against Australia.

Didier Deschamps’s squad will be hoping to go one better than their last major tournament appearance, in which they lost to Portugal in the final of Euro 2016 on home soil.

France are among the favourites to reach the final in Russia with a bundle of stars including Paul Pogba, Antoine Griezmann and Kylian Mbappe. Australia on the other hand will face fierce competition from Denmark and Peru to reach the round of 16.
