But fans were left eagerly waiting for more details on who will star in the series – and whether any of the original cast will feature.
On Wednesday, streaming service Paramount+ announced the show will be part of its new lineup and that Grammer, 66, will reprise his role as Dr Frasier Crane.

Other beloved stars including Jane Leeves, who played Daphne, and Peri Gilpin, who played radio producer Roz, are also not currently attached to the revival. John Mahoney, who played Frasier and Niles’s father Martin Crane, died from throat cancer in 2018.
