- Frenkie de Jong insists that he has made no decision on his future at Ajax

- However, the player’s father reckons that Barcelona would be a better fit for him
Frenkie de Jong insists he has yet to make any decision on his future despite being strongly linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain.
The Dutch midfielder has turned heads in the Champions League this season with his performances for Ajax, and he started as the Eredivisie side held Bayern Munich 3-3 on Wednesday evening.
Reports had claimed that a move to Ligue 1 was ‘almost certain’ for the 21-year-old, while his own father had touted the possibility of a move to Spanish giants Barcelona.

However, De Jong says that he has yet to give any consideration to his future.
Asked about a possible move on Wednesday evening, he told Voetbalzone: ‘No, I definitely haven’t made a decision yet.’
Ajax failed to nick top spot in Group E from their German rivals after only mustering a draw — a result that could now put De Jong on a last-16 collision course with his French suitors and Barcelona.
He certainly already has admirers across the continent, with PSG forward Kylian Mbappe previously singing his praises having faced him when France met Holland earlier this year.
‘He is a player who really impressed me during our two matches with the Netherlands,’ he told France Football.
‘His vision and the quality of his passing that breaks the lines make him very valuable, especially because he also intercepts a considerable amount of balls.
‘Honestly, he is very welcome in Paris! I said to him as much, because he would be enormous for us. After that, he will make his own choice.’
