Frightening scenes in Buffalo as Bills star Damien Harris is loaded onto a stretcher and ambulance drives onto the field after brutal hit… as stadium falls silent in moment scarily reminiscent of Damar Hamlin’s medical emergency last season

The Buffalo Bills’ Sunday Night clash with the New York Giants took a worrying turn when running back Damien Harris was taken from the field in an ambulance.

Teammates immediately called for medical attention after the running back was involved in a nasty collision with Bobby Okereke shortly before halftime. Harris lay motionless on his back while doctors and staff immediately ran to his aid.

The frightening scenes come less than a year after teammate Damar Hamlin needed resuscitation on the field and the safety was visibly emotional while watching on from the sidelines.

There was, however, an encouraging sign before Harris was taken from the field. The 26-year-old gave a thumbs up after being put on a stretcher.

Soon, an injury update arrived from the Bills, who revelaed Harris had suffered a neck injury. Thankfully, he had movement in his arms and legs and was being driven to the hospital for testing.

The former Alabama star in his first year with the Bills after spending four seasons with the New England Patriots.
