Dr Chris Brown is set to replace long-serving host Daryl Somers as co-host of Dancing With The Stars Australia, reports claim.
The firnerr I’m A Celebrity host, who jumped ship from Ten to Seven earlier this year, is said to be joining current host Sonia Kruger, 58, at the helm of the dancing competition for its 2024 season.
According to the Herald Sun, Seven will confirm the casting shake-up on Wednesday during the network’s Upfronts on Wednesday.
Fans have already been wowed by Brown and Kruger’s on-camera chemistry after the pair co-hosted the TV Week Logie Awards red carpet earlier this year.
Hey Hey It’s Saturday veteran Somers, 72, is no stranger to the DWTS franchise, having previously co-hosted the show between 2004 and 2007, and then again in 2021 and 2022 alongside co-host Kruger.

Brown was rumoured to be up for the role of co-hosting DWTS with Kruger this year, but according to The Sunday Telegraph he missed out due to a ‘miscalculation’ about his contract.
TV bosses were apparently ‘compelled to extend the invitation to Somers’ after miscalculating Brown’s start date at Channel Seven, the publication claimed in April.
Brown officially joined Seven in July – which was too late for the show’s producers, BBC Studios, to start filming.

Meanwhile, the celebrity vet has been confirmed for two other shows at Seven – a home improvement program called Dream Home and a yet-to-be-named animal adventure series.
Brown inked a multi-year deal with Seven in February to produce unspecified ‘new projects’ for the station.
He started his TV career in 2003 as a presenter on Harry’s Practice on Seven, a role that earned him a Logie nomination for Most Popular New Talent.

He joined Ten in 2008 to host Bondi Vet, which became a surprise ratings hit and was syndicated around the world.
The factual series was based on his real-life experience as a vet at the Bondi Junction Veterinary Hospital in Sydney’s east.
He went on to become a part-time panelist on The Project and also co-hosted I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and The Living Room, which was axed last year.
