LA-based French accessories designer Clare V injects her unique mix of California cool and Parisian chic into Toms’ new collection. The lace-up espadrilles, paired with cropped white jeans and a cotton shirt, are just what my wardrobe needs.

With the royal wedding coming up and as a bride-to-be myself, I’m excited by Mother of Pearl’s new bridalwear collection, inspired by creative director Amy Powney’s own dilemma when searching for an alternative to the usual frothy gowns. Unconventional bridalwear without the couture price tag is having a moment (see Agyness Deyn and food blogger Anna Barnett’s choices). Amy’s options are perfect for an evening outfit change or low-key look that still feels special.
