Front row: Frilled to meet you, Stella Maxwell!

She’s the Victoria’s Secret angel who’s dating Kristen Stewart and has been chosen as the face of hot Australian label Alice McCall – a fave with Kendall Jenner and Beyoncé. We spent five minutes with Stella Maxwell to talk shooting in LA, style tips and, of course, that body.

Victoria Secret angel Stella Maxwell reveals her favourite Alice McCall pieces from this season

YOUR GO-TO OUTFIT? My off-duty style is usually fitted tracksuit bottoms, an oversized   T-shirt, headphones and sneakers. When I go out I like black leather leggings, black loafers and a white T-shirt or blouse. I’ll add a few rings, lots of earrings and a leather jacket.

BEST STYLE ADVICE? I always look forward to summer dressing. For me, growing up in Australia and New Zealand meant keeping it light and simple. You can’t go wrong with vintage cotton T-shirts, denim shorts and some Vans with no socks. It’s just so nice to wear almost nothing!

HAPPINESS IS… Seeing people behave compassionately. I would love for everyone to respect our earth and realise that we are all in this together.

WHAT’S IT LIKE TO BE A VICTORIA SECRET ANGEL? The best thing about it is the family-like atmosphere. All the angels are together on a few shoots throughout the year, but the show is the one time that everyone is really together. It is so much fun – like summer camp!

HOW DO YOU ACHIEVE THAT BODY? Cardio! I use a running machine or the bike – it’s key to getting the heart going. I also love meditation and yoga.

YOUR GO-TO MEAL? I like a salad and perhaps some grilled fish and rice. Eating fresh and clean is everything.

FAVOURITE PART OF WORKING WITH ALICE McCALL? Shooting the campaign in Los Angeles was great, and we had a nice little hang at Chateau Marmont in the evening! Alice has fun with style. You can keep it simple with denim or jump into some patterns. She caters for a wide audience.

THE PIECES YOU’LL BE WEARING THIS SEASON? The Thinking About You skirt, the On Off dress and the Shut The Front J’adore jeans for sure! alicemccall.com
