Fulham are considering signing Lyon winger Bertrand Traore in this transfer window.

Traore has just under two years remaining on his contract at Lyon and the French club are prepared to sell him, as reported by Sky Sports.

If Fulham do pursue a move for the 24-year-old they are likely to face a considerable amount of competition, with Leicester, Everton, Newcastle and Crystal Palace also interested in signing him.

Since joining Lyon three years ago, Traore has made 126 appearances, during which he has scored 33 goals and provided 17 assists.

Traore was previously at Chelsea and played 16 times for the Blues, while he also took in loan spells at Vitesse and Ajax.

Anthony Knockaert and Harrison Reed have had signed permanently after loan spells, while Antonee Robinson has also joined and Mario Lemina has signed on loan from Southampton.

Fulham get their Premier League campaign underway on September 12 when they host Arsenal.
