A momfluencer has been criticized for the ‘irresponsible’ way she held her baby in a photo she posted on Instagram.
Alex Hodges shared the snap of her cradling her three-month-old daughter Tate while clutching a glass of wine.
The mom can be seen smiling at the camera while Tate lies back in the crook of her arm.
However trolls were quick to criticize the posture, suggesting that Hodges was not properly supporting her baby’s neck.
‘Can you support your baby’s head properly and stop abusing her please it’s literally so disturbing,’ one follower wrote.
‘It’s wild. It’s almost like she had a baby for the sake of posting on social media. It’s also weird that she would want to take a picture with alcohol in her hand while holding her baby,’ another added.

Hodges was subject to more criticism, with one person writing: ‘When your wine glass is more important than your child’s neck. I’m sick of seeing this damn child flopping for dear life.’
‘This breaks my heart. That poor baby must constantly have a sore neck,’ another user wrote.
‘Why do they love multitasking with a baby in hand? It’s so annoying!’ one person added, as another wrote: ‘Why would one post this lmao.’
Aside from followers pointing out issues with the photo, many showed their love for the sweet image of the mom and daughter.
According to Parents.com, babies stop needing as much neck support around the four month mark however it can vary from infant to infant.
Hodges shares Tate with her boyfriend Harrison Fugman, the CEO of The Naked Market.
The couple got together last year following Hodges’ divorce from Graham Bennett son of Oklahoma City Thunder owner Clay Bennett.

She announced her divorce on her old podcast Mean Girl, which she hosted along with Jordyn Woodruff.
Hodges has since launched her own show, Just Alex, which featured Fugman on the most recent episode.
