Marjorie Taylor Greene clapped back at anyone suggesting she was breaking from Donald Trump.

Her remarks come after the firebrand conservative – and one of Trump’s closest allies in Washington – shocked many by opposing Trump’s strikes on Iran Saturday.

‘The press and some other nasty people would love to write lying headlines and create dirty rumors that there’s a break between me and President Trump. WRONG,’ she said.

Greene then spelled out both their initials and place a heart emoji between them, with an American flag afterward.

She later posted a video of herself talking on the phone to an unknown reporter, explaining further that there was ‘no break’ before becoming fed up with him and hanging up.

After the reporter asked if she’s spoken to Trump, she bluntly stated: ‘I don’t have to answer any more of your questions because I am sick and tired of your narrative, because it’s complete and total bulls***. We’re done.’

The Georgia Congresswoman, in a rare move, appeared to distance herself from Trump in a heated social media post where she argued America has gone to war with the wrong enemy.

‘I don’t know anyone in America who has been the victim of a crime or killed by Iran, but I know many people who have been victims of crime committed by criminal illegal aliens or murdered by Cartel and Chinese fentanyl/drugs,’ she wrote.

‘However America has not dropped bunker busters on the Cartel’s sophisticated drug tunnels, launched tomahawks on massive cartel poisonous drug operations, or gone to war against the cartels international terrorists networks.’

Greene, 51, argued taxpayer funds should not be spent on foreign conflicts, but instead to fund ‘American interests and issues’, which she notes includes the illegal migrant crisis.

‘American troops have been killed and forever torn apart physically and mentally for regime change, foreign wars, and for military industrial base profits. ‘I’m sick of it,’ the Georgia Republican continued.

‘I can easily say I support nuclear armed Israel’s right to defend themselves and also say at the same time I don’t want to fight or fund nuclear armed Israel’s wars. Nor any other country for that matter.’

She also insisted that although she does not support Trump’s decision, she is not being disloyal, adding that ‘having my own opinions is the most American thing ever’.

The controversial MAGA firebrand has seen a wave of support from liberals after she took to social media to call for ‘an end to the constant demand for America to go to war’.

Greene, who claimed she has spent her entire life watching ‘our country go to war in foreign lands for foreign causes on behalf of foreign interests’,  said she wants to see the US focused on domestic issues.

She wants the White House to negotiate ‘great trade deals’ so that American businesses and manufacturing can boom.

She also for low inflation, low interest rates and a solution to the crippling cost-of-living crisis that impacts every American daily.

‘I want Americans to be rich and have security in their future. I want my children’s generation to have a great future!’ she continued.

‘My kids are 22, 25, and 27. It pisses me off beyond comprehension that my children’s generation can’t afford to buy a house, can’t afford insurance, and have little hope for their future!

‘Americans are exhausted by all of this and rightfully so.’

Greene’s post received a outpour of support liberals shocked by her response, with Pod Save America co-host Tommy Vietor questioning how she has become a ‘voice of reason on this issue’.

‘How is it that Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene and Tucker Carlson and Steven Bannon are… talking about the Iranian people, like they’re human beings, with empathy?’ Vietor said during a panel discussion on Iran with Zeteo founder Mehdi Hasan and Reza Aslan, an Iranian-American author and academic.

He added that ‘the Democratic Party has lost the mantle of being the anti-war party’, citing Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza and previous conflicts, including the war in Iraq.

Vietor claimed there are ‘some principled Democrats speaking out’ about Iran, but others who are ‘sitting around thinking ‘f***, what if it goes well? I don’t want to look stupid. I don’t want to be the guy who opposed Gulf War I’.’

On Monday, Trump announced that Iran and Israel have agreed to a ceasefire, two weeks after they started exchanging missile strikes and two days after he bombed the Islamic Republic’s nuclear labs.

The president said the ’12 day war’ will ‘end’ in 24 hours, despite both nations warning of future strikes and just hours after Tehran attacked America’s largest military base in the Middle East.

He announced the ceasefire deal in a Truth Social post, claiming it is set to go into effect into six hours.

While Israel and Iran have not confirmed if there is a deal, Trump congratulated everyone involved and said the ceasefire will begin once in-progress missions are completed.

Trump broke his silence on Iran’s retaliatory strikes on Monday by demanding the end of the conflict in the Middle East and taunting the Ayatollah for his ‘very weak response.’

The president said on Truth Social that US forces ‘effectively countered’ Iran’s targeting of the Al Udeid Air Base in Doha, Qatar, two days after he bombed three Iranian nuclear sites.

Trump said that no Americans were harmed in Iran’s retaliatory strikes on Monday and declared, ‘they’ve got it all out of their system’, as he thanked Iran for giving early notice to allow the US to evacuate the base beforehand.

‘Perhaps Iran can now proceed to Peace and Harmony in the Region, and I will enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same,’ he wrote, before adding in a follow-up post: ‘CONGRATULATIONS WORLD, IT’S TIME FOR PEACE!’

Trump addressed the escalations on Monday soon after Iran warned that its retaliation to Trump’s strikes on its nuclear facilities may not be over.

World leaders quickly condemned Iran’s strikes and expressed support to Qatar, which said that it has not ruled out retaliatory strikes of its own against Iran.
