Wonder Woman could be forgiven for being a little wheezy if she ever makes it back to the big screen after the actress responsible for playing her lit up a cigarette on Sunday. 

Out for an afternoon stroll in London’s leafy Hampstead, Israeli actress Gal Gadot was hand in hand with film producer husband Jaron Varsano, whose credits include the popular DC films responsible for launching her career. 

But her free hand was put to good use as she puffed on a smoke while making the most of a rare day away from the set of he forthcoming film, spy thriller Heart Of Stone.

The actress, 37, looked relaxed in a casual olive T-shirt, khaki green jacket and jeans as she ventured out in the upmarket London suburb, where notable residents include millionaire pop stars Sam Smith and Harry Styles. 

She added to her look with a pair of black baseball boots, while  heavily tinted sunglasses appeared to be her only notable accessory.

Opting to forgo make-up, Gadot was almost unrecogniable as the couple made their way into a local café, where they mingled with fellow patrons after finding an outdoor table.

Gal joined the cast of director Tom Harper’s Heart of Stone, playing the role of Rachel Stone, in September 2021.

Also joining the cast are Sophie Okonedo, Alia Bhatt and Matthias Schweighöfer, while Tom Harper is directing.

The film’s plot is being kept tightly under wraps while many of the stars’ roles have not been revealed. So far, the film is being described only as a spy thriller.

Tom, 42, is best known for directing Peaky Blinders and Aeronauts while the script has been written by Greg Rucka and Allison Roeder.

The movie is being developed by Skydance Media, the production company behind projects such as Mission: Impossible: Fallout, The Old Guard and Annihilation.

Netflix secured the rights to the movie after a competitive and heated bidding war.
