Gambler proposes to girlfriend in poker room of a Bundaberg pub

  • A punter proposed to his girlfriend in the poker room of a Queensland pub
  • He got down on one knee as his love sat on a stool in front of Dragon Crash
  • His gamble paid off as she said yes, gave him a kiss and put the ring on her finger

A lucky punter chose an unconventional spot to propose to his girlfriend – the pokies room of his local pub.

The casually dressed man got down on one knee as his belle sat on a stool in front of a Dragon Cash game at The Club Hotel in Bundaberg, central Queensland.

His choice of location could have been inspired by hope for their marriage to be lucky, or it being somewhere they shared many fond memories.

The blond girlfriend appeared to accept his proposal and the couple shared a kiss while sitting on adjacent stools.

Dressed in jeans and a black hoodie, she then showed off the single diamond ring with a gold band as it fit snugly on her finger.

The Club Hotel celebrated the proposal on its Facebook page, sharing several photos of the moment and its aftermath.

‘Would of been more romantic in front of Heart Throb,’ it said, referring to another electronic poker game that uses matching hearts.
