Gary Neville has hit back at Harry Redknapp in their ongoing feud by tweeting a comparison of their managerial records.
The Manchester United legend posted a comparison of his record when in charge of Valencia to Redknapp’s ill-fated time managing Queens Park Rangers and Birmingham City.
The argument started when Neville suggested Tottenham have been ‘spineless and soft’ during the past 30 years on Sky Sports programme Monday Night Football.

Redknapp had taken offence at comments Neville made about Tottenham on Sky Sports
Neville posted a comparison of his record as manager of Valencia to Redknapp’s record when in charge of Queens Park Rangers and Birmingham City
In a heated debate with fellow pundit Jamie Carragher, Neville said: ‘Tottenham for 30 years of our lives were spineless and soft, flaky, rubbish, you could be 2-0 down against them and think you would win 5-2.
‘That’s just the way they were. You knew that one little bump during the game and they would fall over it.’
But Redknapp, who managed Tottenham between 2008 and 2012, hit back fiercely at Neville on talkSPORT’s Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast and cited Neville’s brief spell at Valencia.
He said: ‘I thought Gary’s comments were an absolute disgrace. I can only comment on the three-and-a-half years I managed the club, and we weren’t gutless, we weren’t spineless, we weren’t pathetic, flaky or soft.
Redknapp hit out at Neville following his failed attempt in management at La Liga side Valencia
Redknapp was manager of Spurs between 2008 and 2012, with a win record of 49 per cent
‘I was so disappointed and so upset by his comments. He was totally out of order. And listen, we can all come back – when he managed Valencia they were the worst Valencia team probably not just in the last 30 years but in their history.
‘I think he needs to do his homework before he comes out and makes comments like that and talks about people in that tone.’
Now Neville has responded, posting a screengrab of a spreadsheet in which he compares his record during four months in charge at Valencia in 2015 and 2016 with Redknapp’s stats for two of his clubs.
Neville was in charge of 28 matches at the Mestalla, winning 10, drawing seven and losing 11, equating to a win percentage of 36 per cent.
Redknapp’s win percentage during his 105 matches in charge of QPR between 2012 and 2015 was 34 per cent and during his 13 matches at Birmingham in 2017 was 31 per cent.
However, Neville omits to mention that Redknapp had a much better win ration of 49 per cent during his time at Tottenham, even if they didn’t win a piece of silverware.
Neville posted the stats with the message ‘Homework’s done Sir’ and a crying face emoji.
It remains to be seen whether Redknapp can resist having another dig in response.
