  • There’s a lot of anger at Man Utd – it’s them against the world! It’s All Kicking Off!

Gary Neville has blasted former club Manchester United after their shock home defeat to Bournemouth.

Erik ten Hag was named Manager of the Month before Saturday’s clash at Old Trafford, but United tripped-up once again as Bournemouth scored three without reply.

Dominic Solanke opened the scoring after just five minutes, before Philip Billing and Marcos Senesi wrapped things up with two second half goals.

Taking to X after the game, former defender Neville slammed United side for another poor result and their failure to find any consistency in their season.

Neville posted: ‘Consistently Inconsistent! An abysmal result..’

The defeat comes days after United’s 2-1 win over Chelsea on Wednesday night and a week after they laboured to a defeat to Newcastle last weekend, results that show evidence of their current inconsistency.

For Bournemouth, it was their first-ever win over Manchester United at Old Trafford, and a result to rival their famous FA Cup victory over the Red Devils at Dean Court in 1984, when the Cherries were managed by Harry Redknapp in the Third Division.

Andoni Iraola’s side were worthy winners and could have scored more as they had two efforts chalked off and also hit the post.

The Cherries have have now won four of their last five games, drawing the other, and moved ten points clear of the Premier League’s bottom three.

The result heaps more pressure on Ten Hag, despite bagging November’s Manager of the Month award, with two more massive games ahead for the Dutchman.

United face Bayern Munich on Wednesday with their Champions League fate on the line, and then travel to Anfield on Sunday in a clash with table-topping Liverpool.
