As the owner of a luxury department store in Manhasset, she stays on the cutting edge of marketing trends, sharing an Instagram ‘dump’ of various vacation looks with the caption ‘Traveling with Chanel F24.’
The ‘aesthetic’ photos feature a TSA-like bin with various Chanel outfits including a combo of Chanel shoes, bag, and top artfully arranged in the iconic grey tray.
But the trend in not just on Instagram, as TikToker Margot Lee also revealed her odd purchase.
She explained the trend to her followers in a video captioned: ‘Keep watching to see how this made it to our HOME PAGE.’
‘Weirdest thing that I have ever ordered just came in the mail,’ she said in the video posted last week.
The TikToker who owns a journal business, plans to use the tray for product shots.
‘The idea is to create different vignettes with the travel journal featured and to create all different identities of people,’ she explained.
‘This was surprisingly hard to find,’ she added.
Her followers seem to be on board with the odd trend, with one gushing, ‘Marketing genius!’

The tub is from Amazon and she uses it for cleaning supplies when she’s not taking pictures, Piper revealed.
‘If you’re wondering what the point of it is, it’s fun and it’s for art,’ Piper explained. ‘It’s a really fun way to express my love for fashion and thrifting and artistic direction.’
