Mum shares snap of her impressive organisation ‘hack’ – but all anyone can talk about is one of the ‘odd’ labels
- Mum wows parents with her organisation skills
- But many wondered what was inside one of her tiny bags named ‘geocaching’
An Aussie mum has shared how she keeps small possessions organised on car trips when travelling with the family.
Sharing images to the ‘Mums Who Organise’ Facebook group, Sharyn revealed she purchased A5 zip cases from Amazon and labelled each one to store in a Kmart basket between the two front seats.
Eight of the cases were used to store various regular items – such as straws, cutlery, bags, chargers, wipes, and tissues.
But many questioned what the label on the ninth, labelled ‘geocaching’, meant.
Geocaching is an outdoor activity where participants use their mobile or navigation system to seek objects called ‘caches’. Once found, users can sign the log book and exchange items then continue on to the next one.
The service has both free and premium paid membership options.

Geocaching has become a worldwide phenomenon among those who enjoy the outdoors or want to explore new locations.
The caches themselves often aren’t obvious and participants are encouraged to use their imaginations.
Every day thousands on Instagram share their geocaching adventures, with one person finding the prize inside a log cache while another was inside a wooden birdcage.

On Facebook other mums praised Sharyn’s organisation tips and seemed eager to replicate her ideas.
‘Love this’ one person wrote.
Another said: ‘I wish my car (and my whole life) was this neat and organised.’
