Sophie Kasaei has revealed an emotional off-screen moment left her wanting to hide from the cameras while filming Geordie Shore.
The reality star, 35, broke down in tears while she was filming the latest series of the MTV show in Thailand.
Sophie told how she pulled her co-star Abi Holborn aside for a private chat but cameras soon came along to film them with Sophie looking into the camera and saying: ‘No’.
Speaking to The Sun, she said: ‘I wasn’t upset because I didn’t get proposed to, but James proposed to his girlfriend and I had a moment in the toilets, and Abbie is my best friend in the world so I was like ‘Abs I need a word.’
Sophie explained she became emotional after fellow Geordie Shore star James Tindale proposed to his girlfriend during the trip.
She said: ‘I had a word with Abbie and was like ‘Abs I can’t wait for this moment to happen for me,’ and I got a bit teary, but the cameras found us. Nothing is a secret with this show.’
Sophie said it’s virtually impossible to escape the cameras anytime during filming as they are placed ‘absolutely everywhere’.

Former TOWIE star Jordan and Sophie, who has endometriosis, have been open about the difficulties of trying for a baby.
Jordan broke down in tears on an episode of The Only Way Is Essex last year as he revealed he thought Sophie was pregnant but it turned out to be a false positive.
Having a heart-to-heart with fellow star Elma Pazar, 30, Jordan admitted he has done everything he wanted to do in life, and all that is left for him is to become a father.
He confided: ‘Two weeks before we came out here, we thought she was pregnant again which was f*****g hard.
‘It’s my next step in life to be a dad. Everyone here knows how hard I find it being away from Soph as it is. Me and that girl are so close.
‘Everyone knows we are trying for children, it is really hard to talk about. When it is all you want as a man to be able to give that to someone.
‘Early in the journey we had a false positive test. The whole thing takes over your life like I can’t explain.
Sophie has previously candidly spoken about her fertility struggles. The Geordie Shore star admitted her fertility journey ‘hasn’t been the easiest’ as she thought ‘she would be able to fall pregnant straight away’.

Speaking to Heat magazine, the TV personality said: ‘We’ve been trying for a few months now. I thought I’d get pregnant straight away, but it’s a lot harder than people think.’
Sophie, who started dating the TOWIE star, in November 2022, added: ‘It’s not the easiest – there are definitely hard months but we’ll get there one day. At the moment, though, Jordan is loving the trying.
‘He’s having a field day because I’m fulfilling all of his needs and wants!’
