George Clarke ‘finds love again with Swiss opera singer’ – five months after his split from wife

George Clarke has reportedly found love again, five months after his split from wife Katie Morgan was revealed.

The 48-year-old architect, known for property shows including Amazing Spaces and The Restoration Man, has been pictured holding hands with Swiss opera singer Florence Hvorostovsky, 52, in Ibiza, in images obtained by The Sun.

George looked happy and content as he strolled with his alleged new girlfriend following an intimate lunch with El Chiringuito restaurant.

The father of two cut a casual figure in a navy T-shirt and dark navy shorts teamed with black flip-flops and trendy shades.

Meanwhile Florence looked lovely in a patterned mini dress teamed with a brown belt and gold flip-flops.

Mum-of-two Florence’s Russian opera baritone husband Dmitri died in 2017 aged 55 following a battle with brain tumor.

A source told The Sun of the new couple ‘George and Florence looked really happy together. They were chatting and joking and seemed very comfortable — like an established couple.

Their break-up was revealed in February, with it being said that they had put their countryside bungalow up for sale, with it being listed at £870,000.

Meanwhile, The Sun reported at the time that marketing consultant Katie had reportedly alluded to their break-up in a series of cryptic Instagram posts, before her page was then made private.

She is said to have shared messages including one late last year where she hints to have been ‘through the most bizarre and traumatic situation’, while a post uploaded last month read: ‘Now to the future. After a weird couple of years . . . it’s time for change.’

While in other posts, she reportedly spoke of ‘lockdowns isolated on my own’ which were a ‘test of mental agility’, while she also mentioned ‘many, many other trials and tribulations, tears and revelations’.

The couple, who tied the knot in Ibiza in 2018, had initially lived in their London home after marrying, but soon moved into a Cotswolds home – which is now said to sold.

The publication states that sources close to the pair have confirmed their relationship is over.

George was previously wed to animator Catriona Drummond but they went on to split in 2014.

The former couple share sons Georgie and Emilio and a daughter Iona.

Confirming his split at the time in a statement, he said: ‘We have been married quite a long time and decided to part.

‘We have separate custody of the kids and are going through an amicable separation and divorce.’
