George Osborne has told colleagues he will not stop attacking Theresa May until she is ‘chopped up in bags in my freezer’, it was claimed today.
The ex-Chancellor, who was fired by Mrs May when she entered No 10 last year, has launched daily attacks on the PM since taking the helm of the paper in March.
The graphic phrase was revealed today in an extensive profile of Mr Osborne in Esquire magazine.
It said Mr Osborne has told more than one person that he will not rest until she ‘is chopped up in bags in my freezer’.

Mr Osborne, who quit Parliament at June’s election, has insisted he and the paper will continue to criticise people on all sides they feel are making political mistakes.
Editorials in the paper have made a series of revelations hinting at the frosty relationship between Mr Osborne and Mrs May during the six years they sat around David Cameron’s Cabinet table.
He described Mrs May as a ‘dead woman walking’ in the aftermath of June’s election.
And a Standard leader last month said: ‘Like the living dead in a second-rate horror film, the premiership of Theresa May staggers on oblivious.
‘This was not supposed to be in the script.’
Mr Osborne slammed Mrs May’s premiership in a Financial Times column earlier this month and urged her to revisit his Northern Powerhouse vision at the Tory conference in October to revitalise her No 10 career.

He stayed on as Tatton MP until June and is still a well paid adviser to city firm Black Rock.
Mr Osborne earned hundreds of thousands of pounds giving speeches after leaving the Treasury and still chairman of the Northern Powerhouse Partnership board.
