George Zimmerman threatens to ‘beat Jay-Z’

One of America’s most famous rappers is being threatened with physical violence by controversial gunman George Zimmerman over his role in a new documentary about Trayvon Martin.

Zimmerman told The Blast on Saturday that he has a score to settle with music mogul Jay-Z since the rapper’s production team began filming a new documentary on the 2012 case.

Zimmerman claims the film crew made unannounced visits to the homes of his parents and an uncle in Florida, and is now threatening to ‘beat Jay-Z’ and feed him to ‘an alligator.’

‘I know how to handle people who f*** with me,’ Zimmerman said Saturday, adding ‘I have since February 2012.’

The remark refers to shooting death of 17-year-old Treyvon Martin On February 26, 2012, who Zimmerman killed after the two were involved in a physical altercation as Martin was returning home from the store.

Zimmerman was acquitted of murder the following year after a jury found that the then 30-year-old was protected by Florida’s ‘stand your ground’ law, which allows an individual to use deadly force if threatened with bodily harm, according to ABC News.

‘A person is justified in the use of deadly force and does not have a duty to retreat if: He or she reasonably believes that such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself,’ the law states.

The legislation differentiates itself from self-defense law because it does not require an individual to first attempt to get away if he or she can.

Zimmerman says he holds the rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, and his executive producer Michael Gasparro responsible for having ‘harassed’ his family, telling the Blaze that ‘anyone who f***s with my parents will be fed to an alligator.’

The Blaze described Zimmerman as particularly upset over money he claims has been paid to his ex-wife for her participation in the documentary.

Carter’s production company, Zimmerman adds, has refused to pay the 34-year-old’s parents and other family members for their participation, whose involvement in the project remains unclear.

Carter nor Gasparro offered comment following Zimmerman’s statement, but they did get an assist from fellow artist Snoop Doog in an Instagram post uploaded Sunday.

‘If one hair on jays hair is touched that’s when the revolution will b televised,’ Snoop Dogg wrote. ‘We one… thank the system, let the B**** ass m********* get away with murder, try it again. Trayvon Martin Gone but not forgotten.’
