Two Georgia police officers who are married have been arrested for allegedly abusing their adopted children.
Tracy Jones, 47, and Rosemary Jones, 36, were arrested in Sylvester, Georgia, by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday on charges of child abuse.
Tracy is an officer with the Jacksonville, Georgia, Police Department and Rosemary is an officer with the Poulan Police Department.

Tracy and Rosemary were both charged with two felony counts of cruelty to children in the first degree.
Rosemary was also charged with two felony counts of aggravated assault and one felony count of false imprisonment.

Both were booked into the Worth County Jail.
Sylvester, Georgia, is about 170 miles south of Atlanta.
According to a post on his Facebook page, Tracy campaigned to be the Worth County Sheriff as a Democrat in 2016, but did not win the election.
He and Rosemary have been married since 2002.
Tracy also has several pictures on his profile of he and Rosemary with up to seven children.
