Georgia school teacher filmed threatening to shoot student

A high school teacher has been filmed threatening to ‘put a bullet’ in a teenage student’s brain.

Physics teacher Paul Hagan was recorded by another student making the shocking remarks to the  17-year-old boy in his 11th grade class at Rockdale Career Academy in Conyers, Georgia, on November 3.

The boy’s disgusted mother April Carr shared the video on Facebook to try to have the 60-year-old teacher fired.

In the video, Hagan is heard telling the boy, who laughed as he tried to give him into trouble: ‘That’s how people like you get shot. I got a bet.

‘I bet by the time you’re 21 somebody’s going to put a bullet in your head. OK. And it might be me the one who does it.’

Earlier, he said: ‘You screw with me you’re going to be in big a** trouble. Don’t smile at me, man.’

Rockdale Public Schools said it was investigating the footage but has not revealed whether or not Hagan is still working at the school.

It is not clear how the teenager was misbehaving beforehand.

His mother said she was ‘outraged’ by the footage and said her son, who recently turned 17, was a good kid.

The boy’s mother April Carr shared the video on social media and demanded for Hagan, 60, to be fired

Others who viewed the footage claimed to have been bullied by Hagan in the past.

One person said the teacher made him wear a ‘dunce’ hat when he was in his class.

The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports that Hagan has apologized to the boy. His mother says she will not be satisfied until he is fired.

‘I will not stop until he is removed from teaching and held accountable,’ she said.

There was no answer at Hagan’s home on Tuesday morning.

A representative for the school district did not respond to questions on whether or not he was still teaching.
