Gerard Pique has asked for patience from supporters after Barcelona were held to a surprise goalless draw by Slavia Prague at the Nou Camp.
La Liga’s leaders were beaten at Levante at the weekend and have struggled to impress despite being on course to defend their title.
‘I would ask for some patience’, Pique said after Tuesday night’s game.

‘People expect more from us and we understand it because we are Barca.
‘But we are in it, in improving, especially at the level of the game rather than results, because in the end we are leaders in the keague and Champions League.
‘I remember Luis Enrique’s first year when things didn’t work for the first months and then we ended up winning the treble.’
