Geri Halliwell is in discussions with television production companies to make a reality series.

The Spice Girl, who is married to Red Bull F1 boss Christian Horner, has been involved in a pitch to make a programme which would follow her life.

A TV source said: ‘Geri has taken a step back from the limelight in recent years but she has been talking about a reality series which would show what goes on behind the scenes in her life.

‘Geri is a fascinating character and of course it would be done in a classy way. She is hilarious and leads a very interesting life.’

It is not known whether Mr Horner will appear in the show, but it is unlikely their seven-year-old son Monty would as the couple guard his privacy.

The talks come as it appears any plans for the Spice Girls to make a comeback have been paused.

Ms Halliwell, 52, was said not to be keen to get involved in the project which co-member Melanie Brown has been pushing to get off the ground.

Last year, Ms Halliwell was humiliated when Mr Horner, 51, was accused of exchanging WhatsApp messages with a female colleague at his race team, later made public via an anonymous email account.

He was cleared of misconduct after a Red Bull investigation.
