New York Giants’ Darnay Holmes finally breaks his silence on THAT viral sideline video – as he reveals even the team’s OWNER was laughing at him in the aftermath of his sideline massage

New York Giants cornerback Darnay Holmes has finally broken his silence about the NSFW clip of him that went viral back in October.

Holmes’ Giants were playing the Packers in London – a game which they’d win 27-22 – when he realized he suffered a thigh bruise.

But instead of getting worked on in a medical tent, the defensive back received an impromptu massage on the sideline, leaving his buttocks exposed as a trainer tried to fix the issue.

Holmes explained on the ‘2nd Wind Podcast’ how the close nature of the game apparently left him little time to go to a medical tent.

‘I knew I had a thigh bruise,’ Holmes said. ‘Once it gets stiff, it’s over with. Your day’s over with. So I’m like ‘I can’t let it get stiff, man, it’s two-minute [drill].’

‘I’m like, ‘Hey, J [the Giants’ trainer], I need you to rub on my thigh. But I know this can go south — let’s go to the tent.’ He’s like, ‘Nah, y’all ’bout to hit the field, man.

‘I’m like, ‘It is what it is at this point. Bet.”

Luckily for the Giants, their transcontinental flight back to New York was a happy one as they held off a late push from Green Bay.

And the Giants’ GM and owner had some questions for him on the trip back.

‘We celebrating, we on the plane … Our GM [Joe Schoen] and owner [John Mara] come up to me like ‘So that’s how you get it down?,’ Holmes recalled.

Holmes also offered an explanation of the incident on Twitter back in October.

‘Y’all need to chill, the tent wasn’t available! Everyone’s having so much fun with this vid, so I decided to team up with @momentoNFT and turn it into a nft,’ he wrote. ‘Gonna give away some signed balls and do some live streams too.’

The 2020 fourth-round pick appeared in 15 games last year and was an important part of New York’s defense as the team made it to the divisional round of the playoffs.
