A two-year-old girl has been hospitalised after she was allegedly sexually assaulted in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory.
The toddler was flown to the Alice Springs Hospital in the Northern Territory on Friday for assessment.
She was later transported to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide for further treatment.

A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with sexual assault, the ABC reported.
The man was due to appear in the Tennant Creek Local Court, in the Northern Territory, on Tuesday.
Police said there were no other suspects in relation to the alleged sexual assault.
The two-year-old girl (stock) was later transported to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide for further treatment
