One toddler tried her hardest to convince her mother that she deserved a piece of chocolate cake.
The only problem was she already had cake covering her face.
But the girl, from Leicestershire, England, tried to keep a straight face as she insisted to her mother that she hadn’t already tried some of the dessert.

‘What do you want,’ her mother asks in the beginning of the video.
‘Chocolate cake,’ the adorable tot confidently replies, despite the fact that chocolate sauce is smeared over her mouth and nose.
‘You want some chocolate cake?’ her mother asks. ‘Have you already had any?’
‘No!’ the girl replies, looking her mother straight in the eye.
‘Are you sure you haven’t had any chocolate cake?’ her mother asks again.
‘You want some chocolate cake? Have you already had any?’ her mother asks. But the girl confidently replies ‘No!’ as she looks her mother straight in the eye

‘But you want some?’ her mother asks.
‘Yes!’ the girl says excitedly.
‘And you’ve definitely not had any chocolate cake?’ the mother asks again, giving her daughter one last chance to tell the truth.
‘I’m not sure I believe you,’ the mother replies. The girl then stares at her mother with big sad eyes for a few seconds before she finally accepts defeat and walks away empty-handed
