Nail biting footage shows the moment a schoolyard joke went painfully wrong when a little girl got her head horribly stuck between two walls.
The pupil, aged 6, was on a lunch beak with friends when she stuck her head between two walls at a primary school in Lingbi county, Suzhou, in east China.
The girl’s head and upper body were jammed so tightly her mother had to support her weight to help relieve the pressure.
School staff called the emergency services after it became clear that even the smallest movement caused the little girl to cry in pain, The Mirror reports.
Firefighters arrived quickly, and tried to destroy one of the walls using drills.
But they discovered that it was a supporting wall so it could not be destroyed without endangering the girl further.
The crew then resorted to using abrasive paper to sand down the wall, and applied lubricating oil around the girl’s head, allowing it to slide free.

The walls were weight-bearing so they could not remove them and instead chose to file them down with abrasive paper while pouring oil on her head to lubricate it
Their efforts eventually paid off as the girl slipped free of the vice-like grip of the wall
