Gogglebox star Isabelle Silbery introduced her newborn Ruby Emily Richards to her grandmother Emmie on Sunday during a very sweet family day out.
The former television star, 94, who left the Channel Ten lifestyle program after a heartbreaking dementia diagnosis, was ecstatic to meet her great-granddaughter.
In pictures and a video shared to Isabelle’s Instagram, the Silbery matriarch couldn’t wipe the smile off her face after hearing the bub’s beautiful name.
The clip began with Emmie approaching Ruby’s pram and admiring the newborn as she slept soundly wrapped up in her blankets.
‘Oh, she’s so dainty,’ Emmie said, before Isabelle informed her the baby’s name is Ruby Emily.

‘Really? Oh, thank you, that’s lovely,’ Emmie exclaimed as she tried to get a closer look at Ruby.
Isabelle, 38, then revealed in the caption of her post just why the traditionally beautiful name was so dear to Emmie’s heart.
‘My heart explodes. Ruby was the name of Emmie’s Aunty who adopted her when she was orphaned at the age of 9,’ the mum-of-two explained.

Isabelle continued: ‘She saved Emmie from the horrible orphanages back in those days and cared for her like she was her own daughter.
‘I hope our Ruby inherits generations of maternal resilience and Emmie’s cheeky sense of humour.’

One snap saw her breastfeeding Ruby as her mother and grandmother watched on with joy.
Ruby is Isabelle’s first child with husband Alex Richards. The television star also shares nine-year-old son Luca with her ex-husband.
She welcomed her daughter earlier this month and shared the good news with her followers online.
‘The female body is truly incredible. My daughter is here and the experience was grounding and empowering,’ she wrote.
