Gogglebox’s Amy Tapper looks slimmer than ever in a red swimsuit and a green summer dress in holiday snaps after 3.5st weight loss

Former Gogglebox star Amy Tapper showed off her impressive 3.5st weight loss in a series of holiday snaps on Instagram.

The television personality, 23, has headed to Tel Aviv for a friend’s wedding and took to her social media platform to share an insight into her getaway.

Amy looked slimmer than even in a green floral ruffled maxi dress as she posed outside the venue before partying the night away.

In another photo the Celebs Go Dating star rocked a plunging red swimsuit as she soaked up the sun on a sun lounger.

Amy has been working hard on her fitness transformation after overhauling her lifestyle and losing an impressive 18cm off her waist.

Fans took to the Instagram comment section with one writing: ‘Wow you look stunning’, while another added: ‘Looking amazing!’.

In November, Amy admitted years of trolling during her five years on the popular Channel 4 show Gogglebox spurred her on to try an endless cycle of unhealthy fad diets.

The quick fixes meant Amy never managed to maintain her weight loss and it’s only since she made a ‘positive lifestyle change’ with the help of the Goal Getters meal plan by MuscleFood that her health journey has progressed.

Amy has revealed how she recognised from a young age she had a bigger build in comparison to the rest of her peers, and despite never being bullied, she was always aware of her size.

She was just 13 when she joined her mother, father and brother on Googlebox, instantly propelling her into the public eye and the scrutiny of cruel social media trolls.

Amy admitted she would often type her name into Twitter as new episodes of Gogglebox aired, only to see trolls making negative comments about her weight.

‘My dad and I would both get nasty comments about our weight and I’d also get people criticising my voice for being too loud,’ she explained.

‘It was quite upsetting. There were people on Twitter calling us ‘the fat family from Gogglebox’ but my mum and my brother have never had any problems with their weight.’

Over a span of eight months last year, she has dropped three stone by following the Goal Getter meal plan and working out three times a week.

Amy has lost 18cm from her waist, 11cm from her chest and 9cm from her hips and said she has openly spoken about her weight journey online.

She said: ‘Everyone seems to be interested in my weight loss and ask questions about it.’

‘Most of the time they mean well but there can be nasty comments as well. Luckily I have some amazing supportive people around me so I have been able to deal with it.

‘More recently it has come full circle with people on my social media sharing in my weight loss journey and sharing their goals and progress too.’

‘It’s an amazing feeling when they thank me for being their inspiration.’
