Nikola Jokic is appearing to have a great time, despite his initial desire to head back home to Serbia following NBA glory.

Jokic, the MVP of the NBA Finals, helped his team beat the Miami Heat in five games to win the Denver Nuggets their first ever title.

As a result, the party was on in the Mile High City – with Denver putting on a parade to remember.

That party didn’t stop, with the Nuggets seen partying it up in Las Vegas following their championship parade.

Video shows Jokic dancing at the DJ booth inside the Hakkasan nightclub at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino off the strip.

The Serbian big man was joined by teammates – including Jamal Murray, Bruce Brown, Aaron Gordon, DeAndre Jordan, Michael Porter Jr., and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope – dining at Hakkasan’s restaurant before partying it up.

Jokic was seen strutting his stuff both near the tables where DJs Pauly D and Justin Credible were spinning and elsewhere in the club.

It’s a far cry from the same Jokic who said in a post-Finals press conference that he needed to ‘go home’ after the title win.

But once he was awash in the pomp and the celebration of the title, he quickly changed his mind.

‘You know I told that I didn’t want to stay for parade,’ Jokic said, standing at the podium.

‘But I f***ing want to stay for parade. This is the best day of my f***ing life. This is amazing.’

He added: ‘We’re all going to remember this our whole lives, and when we see you guys that came out on the streets, this one is for you. We love you Denver, this one is for you.’

Jokic averaged 30 points, 14 rebounds, and over seven assists across the five game series.
