A convicted criminal jailed for a coward-punch attack has transformed from jailbird to clothing entrepreneur making a six-figure salary.
Nathan Leonard Richards is a heavily tattooed, cage-fighting ex-con who boasts about being friends with outlaw motorcycle gang members – but his passion is now business.
The 24-year-old Gold Coast man was convicted of a one-punch attack on a security guard in 2015 and sentenced to 18 months prison.

However his attraction to Australia’s criminal underbelly hasn’t stopped him making music and running his profitable fashion label A-K Clothing, which he claims makes him well over $100,000 per year.
‘When I started A-K Clothing haters said ‘who tf gonna buy that sh*t’,’ he wrote in an impassioned Instagram post.
‘Now it turns over 6 figures, I live off it, I work for myself, when I want how I want, and it sells all over Aus and the world.’
Richards’ online presence is a sea of luxury cars, guns, drugs, glamorous women and motorcycles.
His clothing brand also emulates his love of delinquency with themes of guns and violence, including a pair of women’s gym tights with a picture of a firearm emblazoned on the back.

The convicted criminal admits it is his 15,000 Instagram followers who helped catapult his business into profitability.
‘My social media following has helped because people know my reputation and who I am. They know not to f*ck with me,’ he told news.com.au.
Richards claimed to news.com.au his business is ‘100% legitimate’ however admits he did run it from his jail cell for several months last year.
His second business, named A-K Records, reportedly signed on artists from around the world and he records his own original rap tracks.

In one of his tracks Richards brags about being an ‘A-list criminal’ and he even enlisted members of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club to feature in the song’s video clip.
‘To the people who think our money comes from crime, we sold 30,000 albums at $30 an album … you do the math,’ he told the publication.
‘We don’t need to do anything illegal to make money anymore. The clothing appeals to a market that was previously left untouched.’
Richards’ 2015 coward-punch attack on a security guard on the Sunshine Coast saw him jailed for 18 months with immediate parole.
He was put behind bars for breaching his parole after being found in possession of weapons and was released in April last year.
