Gold Coast influencer dubbed ‘Candyman 2.0’ under fire for ‘appreciation post’ to his wife: ‘Is he saying she’s lucky he’s not cheating?’

Gold Coast influencer Troy ‘Candy’ Williams dedicated a post to his fiancée Anita Cassin on Tuesday – however not everyone was impressed by the sentiment.

Taking to Instagram, the businessman dubbed Candyman 2.0 shared a gallery of loved-up snaps with his other half.

‘An appreciation post to my number 1. I’m constantly here, there and everywhere, putting us in the public eye, regularly at parties with half naked woman and she has 0 insecurities, never complains and instead just makes a lot of new friends,’ he captioned the post.

‘I love your bubbly personality and I love how confident you are! I love doing life with you,’ he added.

However, one fan wasn’t sold on the post, going as far as to label it an ‘ick’.

‘I’m just going to put this out there and say Anita is absolutely stunning. She is so beautiful. Why would she be insecure around half naked women when she is the most beautiful of all + the mother of your child?!’ the user wrote.

‘I find this post ick. If my husband wrote this I wouldn’t be impressed at all! Also I feel like Anita is a Queen and she shouldn’t have to even think about you straying because there is half naked women around,’ they continued. 

‘I dunno Troy but I think you are the lucky one in this relationship & Anita would have men willing to throw themselves at her.. you should be super grateful that she doesn’t stray and that she is such a loyal Fiancè.’

The follower finished by suggesting Troy delete the post.

‘We love you Anita! Troy, I’d remove this post it’s pretty gross,’ they said. 

However, friends and fans were quick to share their love and support for the couple.

‘She’s a 100/10 – no need for insecurities, coz she’s a queen,’ another commented.

Williams lives with his partner Anita and the couple welcomed their first child, son Saint, on July 30 in 2021. 

They announced their engagement in November of 2020.

Troy has been dubbed Candyman 2.0 by his followers, and frequently poses with luxury sports cars on social media.
