Gold Coast influencer’s luxury car wrapping business goes up in flames in suspicious garage fire
A Gold Coast influencer has taken to social media to share his heartbreak after two arsonists ignited his garage and significantly damaged several of his luxury cars.
Troy ‘Candy’ Williams, 33, was left devastated after the heartless criminals ignited the headquarters of his Eye Candy Motorsports car-wrapping business in Arundel.
The incident, which is being investigated by police, occurred at 3:30am on Wednesday and police said it caused ‘significant damage’ to the headquarters.
Police found a ladder and rope at the crime scene and CCTV cameras caught two men acting ‘suspiciously’ on the scene, reports The Courier Mail.
Troy took to Instagram to thank his followers for their support and to provide them with an update.

‘Unfortunately something horrible has happened. Thankfully everyone is okay but I really need time to process this,’ he began.
‘Please give me space, I don’t want people asking me questions. We are all safe and no one is harmed but I’m feeling very broken at the moment.’
Six of his luxury cars, including a Rolls Royce, were in the garage at the time of the incident.

Troy has been dubbed Candyman 2.0 by his followers, and frequently poses with gorgeous women and luxury sports cars on social media.
Back in 2021, he sent some choice words to the teenagers who ransacked a luxury car owned by his pregnant partner.
Posting a series of Instagram stories, the Gold Coast influencer detailed the saga to his 165,000 followers.

The video shows the teens filmed their crime and tagged Mr Williams’ Instagram account as they ransacked the turquoise Mercedes-AMG GLE 63 S Coupe – which retails for $130,000 – while it was parked in the driveway of the couple’s home.
Williams offered a cash reward to his followers in return for information on the identity of the offenders and the return of his items.
Posting an update to his Instagram, he thanked his followers for helping him track down the names and addresses of the thieves, revealing he received most of his items back.
