Gold Coast prison escape Abigail Graf captured by police

One half of the the glamorous ‘Thelma and Louise’ duo who were on the run from prison has been caught by police – but the other woman remains at large.

Abigail Graf, 21, and Tegan Simpson, 24, were reported missing at 11pm on Sunday after they missed a routine headcount at a Gold Coast prison.

Graf, who was in custody for assaulting police, was arrested at a home in Moorina, north of Brisbane about 2.20pm on Monday.
