A Gold Coast woman may have found the miracle solution to a frustrating issue experienced by females around the world – unwanted bosom bouncing.
Amy Jaffers claims the solution is hidden in the power of a compressive strap that prevents breasts from bouncing upwards during exercise and general activity.
Her revolutionary invention, the Pinkclover Breastband, was developed out of frustration at unwanted attention garnered by overly jumpy boobs, and a lack of effective, comfortable products on the market.
A Gold Coast has developed a black band in an effort to combat unwanted bosom bouncing
Amy Jaffers claims the solution is hidden in the power of a compressive black strap worn over the top of a sports bra
While her product is designed to be worn over the top of a sports bra, she said it combated the most common causes of pain induced by wobbling breasts, Courier Mail reports.
‘Sports bras are brilliant for support but they mainly support the sides and underneath. Even the most supportive sports bras do not stop that vertical bounce,’ Ms Jaffers said.
‘They just don’t offer enough compression around the top of the breasts.
Finding a way to control the wobbly pockets of fat is no mean feat, but Ms Jaffers says her breastband compresses the ‘parts that’s are still left moving’ underneath a sports bra.
She spent a year researching and trialing different materials, but eventually sought inspiration from garments worn by women post-breast surgery.

‘When I was searching for a solution one thing I found was that people who had had breast surgeries afterwards are often fitted with bandages to hold their breasts in place… I thought how can that be used in other areas?,’ she said.
The band is available for worldwide shipping and retails at less than $40 – a substantially more affordable option for large breasted women who often are left forking out hundreds for the support they need.
Cosmetic surgeon Dr John Flynn said Pinkclover could reduce long-term issues associated with having big boobs, particularly ‘in the category of eventual breast lifts down the track.’
