Golden Gaytime’s newest craze Crumbtins hit shelves this week at Woolworths, Coles and IGA stores across the country
An iconic Australian ice cream which has been reproduced as a cake, a cornetto and a doughnut is now being turned into crumbs.
Golden Gaytime’s newest craze Crumbtins hit shelves this week at Woolworths, Coles and IGA stores across the country.
Crumbtins made their debut in January at pop up shops in Melbourne and Sydney.
The demand was ‘incredible’, with customers buying six or more cans at a time, Scott Mingl, Streets Marketing Manager, said.
‘We knew Aussies loved the original Gaytime crumbs but when we saw the response earlier this year we had to bring it back – and we’re stoked to make it available nationwide in supermarkets for a limited time.’
‘One of the best things with the Crumbs was how Aussies were inspired to start making their own Gaytime creations. They took Crumbs to a whole new level and we loved it,’ Scott said.

The Golden Gaytime burger and doughnut were introduced to fans last year.
The burger was made up of two of the ice creams sandwiched between a sweet brioche bun with a liberal drizzle of caramel sauce.
The one-off creation was available for just two days in Sydney.
Crumbtins will be available for a limited time.
