Golden retriever Wallis was born with two noses

An adorable Golden Retriever born with two noses shows off his impressive double features in this heart-warming video.

Wallis, from Poole, Bournemouth, was born with the birth defect that has left him with two noses.

The adorable pooch was adopted by doting owner, Lana Culley, 21, last March, after she found his unusual appearance irresistible.

Wallis, who has an exceptional sense of smell, has fitted into family life perfectly and often spends his days running around the family farm.

Lana, who works for the family cafe based in Coast, is often stopped in the street by strangers who have spotted Wallis’s double nose.

And despite his defect – which is a cleft palette – it’s impossible not to think Wallis is adorable.

Lana said: ‘We chose Wallis when he was a puppy because of his noses.

‘He is adorable and we knew there wouldn’t be another Golden Retriever quite like him.

‘We already had another dog called Sunny, and the pair of them are inseparable.

But despite Wallis' appearance, he is no different to Sunny, his owner Lana insists

Wallis and Sunny are now inseparable and often run through the farm together and enjoy going out for walks on teh beach and swimming in the lakes

'Wallis is unusual looking and always gets a lot more stares when he's with us, we wouldn't change him for the world though,' owner Lana said

Wallis’s face almost looks like a mirror image due to his double nose but despite his differences, he’s the same as any other Golden Retriever.

Lana said: ‘He is no different to Sunny and he has no idea he looks any different.

‘The pair of them are always enjoying themselves outdoors.

‘We love Wallis’s birth defect and whenever we post photos of him online, we always get loads of comments from people who think he’s really cute.

‘Apart from his congenital defect, he doesn’t have any other differences.

‘Our entire family love him so much and we wouldn’t change him for the world.’
