Paige Spiranac is used to people complimenting her on how she looks, but golf’s glamour girl was left stunned by a less flattering comment on Twitter this week.

After sharing a video joking about some bad betting tips she had been offering her fans, she noticed one comment comparing her in her black headband to Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence.

Taking to Twitter around the video, Spiranac wrote: ‘Someone said I looked like Trevor Lawrence, and I can’t unsee it now, lol.

‘Brb (be right back) burning this headband, but enjoy the picks.’

The 23-year-old Lawrence is well known for his luscious locks and has been seen wearing a black headband in Jaguars practice of late.

The quarterback is sharpening up his preparation for the start of the new NFL season which is just weeks away.

The Jaguars start the season on September 10 against the Indianapolis Colts.

The 30-year-old Sprianac, meanwhile, joked earlier this week that she plays better golf when she wears less clothes.

After a round in New Jersey, she tweeted: ‘I want it on record that I wore a golf appropriate outfit today and it didn’t help my score. ‘I shoot lower the less I wear. It’s science.’

Earlier that day, Spiranac shared a picture from a round in New Jersey, wearing a chequered green dress.

She seemed to be playing well, captioning her tweet: ‘Made birdie’.

Now, it seems like she will start by losing the headband before her next round.
