Good Morning Britain’s Laura Tobin left viewers in stitches as she screeched after being left stranded on a paddle board during Friday’s episode of the programme.

The meteorologist, 38, hilariously presented the weekend’s scorching hot weather forecast while floating on a lake stood on a paddle board.

After reading the weather news, Laura floundered as she attempted to make her way back to shore while keeping her balance on the board.

Laura battled to turn around so that she was facing the cameras, while studio hosts Ranvir Singh and Adil Ray failed to contain their amusement.

Adil suggested that they were ‘all waiting’ for Laura to slip and fall into the lake while trying to manoeuvre the board to face towards them.  

He said: ‘Oh come on. You know what we are all waiting for. You know what we all want’, while Laura hit back: ‘Oh shut up, Adil!’

During the segment, which was filmed by a drone, Laura told viewers that Friday could be the hottest day for months with temperatures climbing to 35C.   

Screeching as she tried to stay afloat, Laura said: ‘The scenes are beautiful. Beautiful blue skies greeeting us this morning on what is set to be the hottest day of the year so far with 35C to 35C across the south east.’

Later she added: ‘It’s really not going well… I’ve hit the edge, pretty rubbish paddle boarding!’
