A GoPro camera containing photos of a mystery lady on a surfboard taken five years ago has been found washed up on a beach.
Cara Ryan and her family were on holidays at Maroochydore, on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, when the object was spotted in the surf.
Her children Caden, 4, and Aria, 2, picked up the camera, which was looking worse for wear after years in the ocean.

When Ms Ryan returned home she discovered an SD card inside the camera containing photos of a mystery woman, The Sunshine Coast Daily reported.
‘We have looked at the SD card and it has a few photos and videos of a lady surfing. They’re all from 2012,’ she said.
‘Judging by the photos it could have been lost at Alex Heads, I’m not too sure. But it somehow made its way to where we were.

‘Its case was all mouldy and pretty gross. It was in poor condition, really deteriorated by the ocean.’
The GoPro was found on the beach at Goat Island, across from Cotton Tree Beach.
One of the buildings visible in the photos could be the Shan Delle Apartments on Juan Street at Alexandra Headland.
