Gordon Ramsay has bought a lavish five-bedroom home in London from Gina Coladangelo and her estranged husband Oliver Tress.

The famous chef, 56, has been spotted at the home formerly owned by Matt Hancock’s girlfriend, 45, and is thought to have been ‘measuring up’.

While the price of the lavish pad hasn’t been disclosed, Gina and Oliver, who is founder of upmarket homeware and clothing chain Oliver Bonas, paid £3.8 million for it in 2015.

According to The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden, Gordon and his wife Tana are understood to have paid in cash, with property company Zoopla putting the home’s value at up to £4.75 million.

Gina shares three children with multi-millionaire Oliver, named Talia, Layla, and Bruno.

The pair tied the knot in 2009 and moved into the home in 2015, before Gina left him for former Health Secretary Matt – who she had been friends with since university.

Oliver and Gina paid £3.8 million for the South West London home in 2015, which they moved into after living in Clapham Junction.

A similar property in the same street, with a 90ft garden, is currently on the market for £4 million. The TV chef is understood to have paid cash.

While Gordon, who has an estimated fortune of £175 million, already owns a huge house, said to be worth £7 million, less than a mile away.

It is thought that he may have bought the house because of extensive works currently being undertaken at his other London pad.

MailOnline have contacted representatives of Gordon Ramsay for comment.

Last year, he, Tana and their five children were reported to have temporarily moved out after work began on a super-basement.

The couple also own holiday homes in California and Cornwall, where, at one point, they had three properties.
