Gordon cut a dapper figure for the outing, donning a smart black blazer over a white T-shirt which boasted a solid black neckline.

He appeared to be deep in thought while checking out the car, ensuring to look all around it before hopping into the driver’s seat.

Several other people could also be seen checking out the new electric car which was officially launched on Friday.

The Everrati Porsche 911 can take up to 12 months to build and is capable of 0-60mph in under four seconds.

The vehicles retain the look of a classic car but boast the benefits of being fully electric zero emmisions supercars.

When transforming the car to electric, Everrati sources an original Porsche 911 to restore and modify. Each car is then disassembled back to its bare chassis and has all the bodywork removed, reports Yahoo.

And Autocar reports that during modification the 1991 car’s steel body panels were swapped for carbonfibre replacements, making it lighter than the 1450kg original.

The car has an electric motor with 500bhp linked to a 53kWh battery pack.

Gordon’s outing comes after he was in Greece filming the new series of Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip in Athens earlier this month.

The star was seen alongside fellow chefs Gino D’Acampo and Fred Sirieix as they enjoyed a well-earned rest as they chilled out by their campervan after shooting.

The trio’s planned stint around Asia for the show was postponed thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The TV chefs and maître d’ were planning to head to Nepal and spend three weeks gallivanting across Asia for their hit ITV series – but the deadly virus – which originated in Wuhan in China – put a stop to production last year.

With travel grounded and most TV shows being thrown into logistical chaos, the trio reportedly had to shelve their plans for what was set to be their ‘most adventurous trip to date’ for the time being.

According to a source at the time, filming in Asia will be unlikely to go ahead until sometime later this year.

An insider told The Sun: ‘Gordon, Gino and Fred’s latest road trip was going to see them heading to Nepal. The plan was for them to travel around and film in as many Asian countries as they could fit in over a three-week period.

‘It was going to be their most adventurous trip to date — in terms of the countries they visited as well as the food they would have experienced and the culture.

‘But now it seems Asia is going to be firmly off the cards for some time and it’s unlikely any filming will be able to take place until well into 2021.

‘Obviously, it’s gutting for them all as they love working together, and going away on their work trips has become a highlight for Gordon, Gino and Fred.

‘They want to make sure the next series is just as outrageous, however, so even though their next adventure may be closer to home, they want it to be the best yet.’

The popular show has been packed with drama and hilarious anecdotes – as well as the odd near-death experience.

It comes after Gordon revealed he’s lost £57 million during the Covid pandemic after being forced to close his restaurants for much of 2020.

The chef, who owns 35 restaurants and is scheduled to open five more in 2021, admitted he’s been ‘devastated’ by the financial impact of the crisis, and lost £10 million worth of bookings in January alone due to the third lockdown.
