But Gordon Ramsay showed off his comedic chops as he dressed up as famous granny Mrs Doubtfire for an upcoming episode of Masterchef Junior.
Taking inspiration from the cross-dressing character – played by Robin Williams in the hit 1993 film – Gordon, 51, donned the trademark blonde wig and retro reading glasses to talk to the child contestants.

In scenes set to air later in the series, Gordon’s tough exterior melted away as he got into character, wrapping up in a frumpy cream cardigan and gold broach.
The Michelin star chef was unrecognisable under his dated silk paisley shirt, as the usually muscular cook filled out his waist with extra padding.
In true Mrs Doubtfire fashion, Gordon opted for a flowing red skirt, a white handbag and a pearl necklace, while he lined up next to his prosthetically enhanced hosts Christina Tosi and Joe Bastianich.

Christina rocked a short silver wig and gold jacket, while restaurateur Joe dressed head-to-toe in a nun costume.

His amusing appearance on the show comes as Gordon had quite the foodie surprise when he appeared on Tuesday night’s The Late Late Show with James Corden and partook in the rather grotesque segment Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts alongside the British host.
The Brit chef was on the chat show to promote the new season of Masterchef Junior when he was challenged to either answer a question truthfully or dine on a number of vomit-inducing delicacies, which included cow’s tongue and hot sauce marinated bull’s penis.
They continued their attempts to dodge eating the vile delicacies when but it couldn’t be as Gordon was forced to down hot sauce drenched bull’s penis when he refused to give the name of the celebrity he wouldn’t welcome back to his restaurant.
