Grace Tame reveals a striking new look with her Rapunzel length locks as she celebrates her sell-out book tour

Grace Tame showed off her striking new look as she attended the No Woman Left Behind conference to celebrate International Women’s Day on Friday.

The former Australian Of The Year, 28, is usually seen wearing her blonde hair in a tight bun, but decided to reveal her Rapunzel length locks at the Darwin event.

Photos show Grace posing with fellow guests with her hair tumbling down past her hip in a dramatic side parting.

Grace’s tresses have been looking thicker and longer than usual, suggesting she may have recently enhanced her look with hair extensions.

Grace is currently on a promotions tour for her sell-out memoir The Ninth Life of a Diamond Miner, which she released in September.

The book follows Grace through her childhood experiences of suffering and exposing her sexual abuse through her work as an activist and being crowned Australian of the Year in 2021.

‘In 2021, Grace stepped squarely into the public eye as the Australian of the Year, and was the catalyst for a tidal wave of conversation and action,’ the book’s description reads.

‘Australians from all walks of life were inspired and moved by her fire and passion. Here she was using her voice, and encouraging others to use theirs too.

‘The Ninth Life of a Diamond Miner is Grace’s story, in Grace’s words, on Grace’s terms. Like, Grace, it is sharply intelligent, deeply felt and often blisteringly funny.’

It comes after Grace slammed recent rumours she’s split with her fiancé Max Heerey by sharing photos of him on Instagram.

Breakup chatter made headlines last month after it was revealed Heerey had left the board of the Grace Tame Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation established he helped Grace establish in 2021.

Fans also noticed the couple had not posted about each other on social media for at least nine months.

Hitting back at split rumours via Instagram, Grace shared several photos and a video of Heerey playing with their pet cat Iggy and dog Zappa.

‘Choose your fighter!!! Our growing family,’ Grace wrote in the caption.

The couple confirmed they were engaged in January last year.
