A 93-year-old grandma has been taking the internet by storm by sharing her frank dating advice as well as updates about her own love life.

Lillian Droniak, who lives in Shelton, Connecticut, has gained more than 8.7 million followers on TikTok with her very candid clips aimed at fellow singles.

She recently shared a series of videos about red flags to watch out for in the dating world which included avoiding a man ‘if he doesn’t like bingo’ or ‘if he golfs.’

The viral sensation has also given insights into her own relationship journey and recently posted a ‘get ready with me’ clip before she headed out on her first date in 25 years – but it did not go as planned.

Lillian has been captivating audiences in recent months with her foolproof dating advice, having recently revealed a list of red flags that daters should avoid.  

In one clip, she revealed part one of her eclectic list, which included: ‘If he doesn’t hold the door for me. It’s not that hard.

‘If he doesn’t like bingo, I don’t date him because I love bingo.

‘If he doesn’t keep enough soup for me in the refrigerator. I always like soup and eat soup.’

And she concluded: ‘If he doesn’t call me pretty all the time, I don’t want anything to do with him.’

In a follow-up clip, Lillian went even further as she added: ‘If he lies about his height. It’s okay if you’re a short king, we just need to know.

‘If he is a water sign, run, run far away.

‘Don’t forget J names. I’m talking about Jimmy, Jason, Jack.’

Lillian, who joined the social media platform in 2019, recently told Good Morning America that she feels like the ‘grandma of the internet’

Lillian said that if a date doesn’t like cats, you should ‘block him’ before treating her followers to a rendition of her own meowing.

She simply concluded: ‘If he golfs, don’t trust him.’

Lillian appears to have been following her own strict advice and recently shared a ‘get ready with me’ video as she prepared for her first date in more than two decades.

Speaking to camera, she began: ‘My first date in 25 years and he’s going to pick me up in 20 minutes. 

‘I’m getting nervous now. I met him at bingo and that’s the way it goes.

‘He’s really handsome and I couldn’t say no… I might kiss him, you never know but I’m going to still put lipstick on just in case.’

She then repositioned the camera to showcase her outfit before giving a twirl to capture it in all its glory.

Lillian continued: ‘If he doesn’t like it, he could leave. All I want is a free dinner. 

‘I’m not even going to bring my wallet or my purse. I’ll let you know how it goes.’

Sadly, the date did not go as planned.

Posting another video after she got home, Lillian explained: ‘I just got back from my date and it was no good.

‘He didn’t even look at my outfit and say that it looks pretty. He was rude to the waiter, he was just a rude person. He didn’t even hold the door for me like a gentleman should.

‘Bottom line he wasn’t a gentleman, not my type. And he was shorter than me.’

Concluding, she said: ‘Only date a gentleman… when you go out, that’s how you find out. And I did not give him a kiss. No way, no way.’

Lillian, who joined the social media platform in 2019, recently told Good Morning America that she feels like the ‘grandma of the internet.’

She said: ‘Giving the dating advice because I went through it. They are maybe too young to think about it.

‘I was bashful when I was young. And now I’m too much trouble sometimes.’

Lillian also revealed that making content made her feel young.
