He was known for getting up to all sorts of crazy stunts during his time as the weatherman for Sunrise.
Now Grant Denyer has revealed the one time he took his shenanigans a step too far.
The 2DayFM breakfast show host told the story on-air on Tuesday morning, leaving his fellow co-hosts Em Rusciano and Ed Kavalee in stitches.
‘I was kicked off air’: Grant Denyer reveals he was once sent home during a weather segment on Sunrise because it was deemed ‘too X-rated’ for breakfast television
His tale was prompted after Em explained to listeners that they had beewatching one of the morning shows with a cross to their weather girl, who was at a pole dancing studio.
The 38-year-old then said to Grant: ‘You once did a cross to a pole dancing studio’.
Grant then went on to explain that he too once did a cross to a pole dancing studio ‘for fitness’ while working on Sunrise.
‘I got kicked off air halfway through the show because of it!’ the 40-year-old father-of-two revealed.

He continued: ‘I was three crosses in and had six to do when they cut the feed. I got a phone call saying the last cross was a little too X-rated and they said ‘no more’ and sent me home.’
The lovable host said he was only there to ‘focus on athletes hard at it’ but ended up getting ‘full disciplinary action’.
Grant left the Seven Network in 2013 to take a break from the early morning starts. He later joined Network Ten to host the game show Family Feud.
